Welcome to the Village of Kleinburg, where you will find that the atmosphere of early Canadian traditions and architecture still prevail. Nestled atop the Humber River Ridge and surrounded by spectacular vistas and views, this country village is just bursting with things to see and do, offering you a unique choice of shops and galleries. We are certain your experience will be reminiscent of years gone by, with many beautifully restored buildings to see. Linger for the day and allow the restaurants and "small indulgence" establishments to help you unwind and relax.

Founded by John Kline in 1848, this picturesque village is now home to many businesses, including galleries, boutiques, design, home decor, book and gift shops as well as several tempting places to eat. The village is also home to the McMichael Canadian Art Collection, the spiritual home of the Group of Seven. There are many exciting things to do in the surrounding area, so come make a day of your visit and savour all that Kleinburg has to offer.

Kleinburg is a special country place set high above the Humber River. The west branch of the river meanders with you along Highway #27, working slowly to carve the land. From Islington Avenue the river valley falls away on either side leaving a high, open plateau with splendid views. The East valley is a haven of trees and wildlife, fed by the river and protected as parkland for you to enjoy.
